The
Yellow Star is a beautiful flower that blooms through most of
Texas in the spring. The plant grows to about 2 feet tall and
generally contains several blossoms. This particular specimen
was photographed between Llano and Lake Buchanan, where many
were mixed
into a field of bluebonnets. There is a photo of that field in
the scenics gallery on this site.
