Engelmann's
Daisy is actually a form of prairie grass that used to grow thick
in pastures in Texas and the Southwest. Much of it has been grazed
out of pastures, but it is still seen frequently on roadsides in
Texas in the spring and summer. This one was photographed in Austin
on the side of Capital of Texas highway in April 2001 on a cloudy
nearly windless day.
