Wild Onion has a beautful blossum that starts out as a very dark
rosy-pink and lightens over time. The blossums form a cluster at
the top of a spindly stem with 10 to 15 flowers in the cluster.
I have usually seen them in groups, often on the edge of an open
field and a wooded area. This one was taken on the edge of a cedar
break just northwest of Austin in April 2001.
