This shot was taken during my April 2001 desert bloom shoot. Probably as much as any other shot in my portfolio, this shot says "Big Bend." The rocky desert floor, the creosote and sage, and the Chisos mountains in the background--this is Big Bend country! I shot this along the road to the Boquias canyon looking west toward the Chisos.
