Snow Geese Flying

This was my first attempt at flight photography using my new "big" lens the Sigma 800 and the Kirk King Cobra gimble head. It was early morning on a clear sky day at Bosque del Apache, about 30 minutes after the big flyout of the geese from the main pond. This small flock had circled around the property and was headed back in to land in the corn fields. I panned just ahead of them and shot with motor drive and captured the team pretty well.
