I was out in a field of prickly pear cactus in the north Austin area looking to shoot prickly pear thorns in the sunset. I came across this guy just hanging out chomping on a prickly pear. I started shooting from a ways out, and worked my way in closer taking shots all the way. I ended up only inches away and he never spooked. I love the golden color in the late day light.
