I got this shot of a big buck in Cades Cove during my Smoky Mountain trip in October 2003. He was with a small herd about 100 yards off the field in one of the many Cade'd Cove meadows. I was able to pull off and set up my big lens to get off 12 to 15 shots. Camera:
