Bullfrog
Rana catesbeiana

I traveled to Aransas NWR to take pictures of shorebirds and waterfowl and hopefully to catch a glimpse of the whooping cranes. The only bird I saw to photograph all day was a gallinule, and I got a few alligators and some javelina shots. This bullfrong was hanging out in the shallows of a pond right next to a footbridge I was crossing so I stopped to get a few shots.

Photo Details: Nikon F100, Sigma 170-500/5, Fuji Provia 100F, 125@f11, Manfrotto CF with Kirk BH-1.
