I traveled to Aransas NWR to take pictures of shorebirds and waterfowl
and hopefully to catch a glimpse of the whooping cranes. The only
bird I saw to photograph all day was a gallinule, and I got a few
alligators and some javelina shots. This bullfrong was hanging
out in the shallows of a pond right next to a footbridge I was
crossing so I stopped to get a few shots.
